Hey,

I just got home from a great cruise night. Every Wednesday in Wyckoff NJ at Brick's Pizzaria by the DMV center.

There was a green 68 RT, a GL car, a GTX and old A body barracuda, and an older Dart when they were the bigger size. (64 or 65 maybe)

There was tons of Vipers, vette's and street rods, T buckets, etc.

Anybody in North Jersey should check it out.

There's also Saturday nights at the Whiskey Cafe in either Lyndhurst or Rutherford NJ too.

I went to the Wyckoff cruise once. It was a pain to find it though, but that was my first time there so in the future it shouldn't be too hard.

That green GTX belongs to a guy named Eddie. The blue Challenger belongs to a guy I see weekly at Whiskey. His father owns a nice 4spd Daytona.

Whiskey Cafe is probably the greatest cruise on earth. We are usually there weekly with or without a car. You never know what you might see at that cruise. If you know where Medieval Times is, the Whiskey show is right around the corner.

Check out www.njcarshow.com for shows and cruises. Maybe we can all meet up at one.

Is that a weekly thing, Like the Whisky or Brick's, or was that a one day deal.

BTW - 6/3 in Midland park is a show at some church on Godwin road, near the Friendly's.

THE COLONEL

You guys want a cruise?  Every Friday in Wexford Pa, they have the Wexford Starlite Cruise at the Northway Christian Chruch.  Acording to local TV and radio, it is the biggest "Weekday" (not weekend) cruise in the United States.  They average 1,000 cars every Friday, as long as the weather is good.  It's been rained out the last three Fridays.  People come from all over, and as far as 100 miles away.  The first cruise on May 5th had over 1,100 cars there and that broke a record.  There are some nice rides there. :yesnod:

I graduated from there in either '89 or '90. I failed one class and had to take it again. I had a beat down green '69 Satellite when going there. I miss the old Union Market down there. I used to buy all my 12" records there.

The place looks nothing like it did when we were there.

This is at the Mahwah,NJ lincoln tech not the union one. Its run by the Mahwah PD. Link with some pics from last years show. http://www.hotrodhotline.com/feature/2005show/05mahwah/

I was there and have over 100 pics. Did you see the HEMI Dart GTS, or the 1 of 1 1971  4 speed 383 'Cuda Convertible.

Yeah, that cuda was cool. I did a double take when I saw it. My fav was still the sublime 440+6 GTX.  Check this out....

I was checking out the silver SRT-8 Magnum right at the front entrance that the local Dodge dealer had on display and the sales guy saw my classic chargers T and said I should look at the new Tor-red Charger Daytona.

I told him that it had too many doors.  :icon_smile_evil:

He told me that I was wrong and that the first charger was a 4 door. Now, I do know that the charger name was taken from a trim level of the 4 door coronet in 65. I think the Cuda was derived from a trim level of another vehicle IIRC.

That's some serious hair splitting, but a trim level is not a model name as far as I'm concerned.  The first charger in my eyes is the 66 2 door fastback.  He then went on about how the new charger was made a 4 door on purpose to get people hopped up about the Challenger, and that they didn't want 2 big 2 door cars.

Whatever. It was still a cool show. We cut out around 2ish when it started to drizzle a little bit.

I left about 3.. 2 of my uncles and my cousin are of the FD. That GTX goes to a lot of shows. I got there when it was practically empty around 12. I think i saw you at the tent where they had those shirts and small die-casts for sael. Did you have on a white muscle car classics of the 60's and 70's shirt with the 1973, 1968 and 1966 or 67, I had a cuda shirt on with a red 71 on it.
