1969 charger daytona headlight vacuum hose firewall hole size??

So does anyone have a set of calipers that can measure the size hole on the firewall for the headlight vacuum hose grommet?? some people are saying its not exactly 1 1/2 on the dot.... Its a little off.  anyone know??? 1.487?? 1.496??? 1.523??? thanks r

Wouldn't   68 69 charger vacuum harness rubber grommet into firewall tell what size it is

1.482, 1.485 maybe up to 1.490 kind of hard to measure the way I have the car positioned. Its not perfectly round. Its not over 1.5. This one anyway. How accurate you need??

Hey to be clear hear that measurement is not from an actual 69 Daytona. Guess I missed that part in the topic title.    Its from a XP 69 Charger I have apart and sitting.

can you not  measure the slot in the grommet with a caliper ,  unless ive missed  something ! no offence meant

Yes you can measure the grommet. But it doesnt give you an exact hole size. It hard to go off of rubber. But i would give you an idea
