Covering up

Headed out for an extended trip to the northern border of this country. Driving (instead of flying) across the vast and open interior of our Midwest to avoid all of the (seemingly endless) hassles of various Covid rules, masks, and transporting firearms. Going to walk in the big forests of the Nowhere, Minnesota and boat upon one of the bigger lakes up there. Planning on hunting and fishing until I'm tired of it. Wont be back until late October (if I'm lucky) so it's time to cover the car once again...

What it looked like last year:









It's going to be a little harder this year. The proprietor of the little "resort" my family and I've used up there for the last 20-years or so had the temerity to pass away on us last August.  I'm the "old man" up there now and I'm the one that's going to be doing all the little chores needed to keep the place running.  I sure hope I've payed adequate attention to all his good on-the-job training.
