Seen this picture a few times over the years and it always makes me grimace!

Would you really do this to your new CHARGER? :slap:

And that trunk rack says ''I'm an OLD FART''

I can afford this MEGA car but I won't be going very fast... :drive: :drive: :drive:

Cos' my Hubcaps will 'FLY_OFF' and maybe injure an innocent passer by... :angelwing: :angelwing: :angelwing: :engel016: :engel016: :engel016: :scared: :scared: :scared:

I always felt that ad captured the 60's turning into the 70's.   Wierd slice of time......

You put the average woman on the roof of a classic Charger and yeah....the roof will certainly retain a dent. Back then, everyone was thinner. A woman of 105 lbs is not a common sight today.

God, Kern Dog....you live dangerously.

The wife was 105 when I met her 22 years ago..... :pity:

Was gonna say, thicker steel, thinner women back then.  :2thumbs:

People have also gained about 3 inches in height in the last century.  That's 10-20 lbs of larger body even if nobody had gotten any fatter.

The structure of our cars dates back to the 1950s.  They were definitely designed with smaller people in mind.

Old GF on the hood and roof of my Bee, 1978. I'd have to buy a new car if I let her do it now, as last time I saw her she went about 320...
