Who is Topher? I was thinking about contacting him to see if he could help convert the Superbird vacuum headlight system to an electric motor system. Anybody have any experience with this?

 Thanks!

I have thought about trying this on my clone project also but have you seen how fast a 70 Charger pops the doors open ?
Do not think using this motor the same way as on a 70 Charger would be a good idea as it would break something me thinks

Thanks for the input. Do the 70 Charger light open quickly? I've never noticed but I know the covers on my 68 Charger are rather slow.

A video I found
They open slower because working against the weight but close faster
The bird lamps would be heavier and close a lot faster ??

Pretty sure there is a  procedure to follow when installing a new motor you have to line it up a line or notch on the motor and by memory head lamp doors will be half open then plug it in to the power. If done wrong you will break the limit switches. Someone may have the right procedure
