Wow there's some nice garages out there!!

ramairthree

There are some awesome setups here.  I had a little attached 20 footer with one door and a full driveway for ages.

It was a challenge just to park two in there.

When I retired from the Army and took a new job I bought my wife her dream home, that had a 32 foot attached two door, with the deal I would get a bigger garage/shop/gym/man cave with overhangs and she could have one of the overhangs when we did a pool.

So all I had was this for a couple of years.

With outside cars.

Then saved up for this,

Then added this-

Making one overhang part of the pool deck and the door there right by a sink, bathroom, etc.

I insulated it and the doors well.  I have not really needed to heat and cool the main garage part but am set up to if I need it.

I was expecting the loss of one overhang for the pool area.  She got me with the horse trailer and truck on the other one also.

Yes, you are correct. There is not Charger here.  My parents had an F6 with white over white 440 auto Daytona when I was a kid, I had one of the new Challengers for about ten years, and I am here illegally with an expired Plymouth RR tourist visa.

I had plans made over a year ago for a 50 x 30 garage but with the price of lumber here in New Mexico...we are waiting for the decrease to happen.

The LED lights plug into each other, & then I just have an extension cord & it turns them all on,  LOL, no snow blower down here in Southeast Texas, BUT my garage has HEAT & A/C :)

Looks like he turned a garage into his living room, and decorated appropriately

Thank you for the nice comments. Shown above are the lower level and main level of an addition I put on my house about a decade ago. There is an upstairs too, but that is just a game room for the kids and for my saltwater aquarium, and then that area leads into the upper level of the original part of the house. Not shown is the main garage for the daily drivers, or my workshop where I do the dirtier jobs. The lift area mostly gets used for light work like fluid changes, exhaust work, detailing cars, wheel swaps, etc.

Here's mine.

INTMD8

Very nice everyone

Mine started as an empty pole barn. I had it spray foam insulated, exterior combo unit for heat and a/c. Metal interior walls.  Replaced 3 trusses with curved ones for lift clearance and built attic storage between the rest.

Ground the floor and rolled out white epoxy. Very reflective of course and easy to find things but as you can see gets a lot of noticeable scratches and tire marks.

Found some used pallet racks at a store that was closing and did the air lines in copper.  Lights are all LED.

Pool table is just taking up space as I never use it. (aside from an assembly table since there's a light over it)

mine is pretty humble, I have two, two car carports (end to end) on each side (under the structure of the house and 3/4 carport under the deck..so 5 spaces in total. But open on each end, so when it gets cold, I'm cold. car are protected from rain, but when it snows I put car covers on the old cars. I also use an RV dryer in the charger during the winter. We have talked about enclosing the 4  under the house...but so far it hasnt happened...

Thank you, Ernie. You are correct, of course- my oldest son (with the '68 Charger, running a 400-based 500" street/strip stroker) and my youngest son (with his bone-stock S-code 390 4-speed '67 mustang fastback) both race them at the area dragstrip, along with me in the Demon and the LO23 Dart. It isn't much of a race right now, as the Charger runs 11.4's through full exhaust on DOT drag radials, and the Mustang barely musters a 14.9, but things will get more interesting next year, when we swap out the boat-anchor 390 with an FE-based stroker and get that one into the low to mid 11's.  Here are some photos:

To me, a garage is where you park cars, a shop is where you work on cars but can also park one. I understand some folks make do with one but I prefer to have them separate.
