Turned out to be a Charger weekend for me around home

On Saturday a friend dropped by to work on his 72 Charger that was stored at my place
He drove his 68 to get here

The 72 is getting rented out for a movie scene and we put a better set of front seats in it that I had around

Today another buddy wanted to get his car and my car out at the same time so we ended up a Dairy Queen for ice cream
He has a 66 with a 318 and a 4 speed some one had put in it

When the two cars sitting side by side I was very surprised how close the out line of the roof was the same

It is a film festival type film so who knows how far it will go
The movie is called Painted Sharks
At one point they are going to use some white paint to paint a shark on the hood of the car but it is just going to be a sticker so it will come off again

The 72 is not my car but another member on here's car Baldwinvette  ( Allan )

He lives about an hour away from me but the car was originally from my area
The previous owner had it since high school and wore it out so to say to the point it ended up out in a field

Allan thought it was best to do most of the early work here so if it did not turn out it could just go back out to the field

It is an original 340 car with numbers matching motor
Has fender tag showing it was a red car with white interior
Previous owner added the hide away head light grill

The car was very soft so we thought it was best to get it up on this trailer that is square and flat to be able to work on it and have a place to measure from
Also the trailer was easy to pull out of the shop between resto weekends when space was needed for farm stuff 

It has come a long way from when it first got to the farm and there is more to do but it is running and usable now till time permits to finish it off
