Attention Canadians: does anyone know about a 1970 Charger that someone put real Daytona parts on back in the 70s of 80s. It's blue with a blue interior. It has Daytona Lettering in the rear quarters. A friend bought the car out of Canada and would like some history on the car and the real Daytona that the nose and the wing came from if that's possible. If anyone knows please chime in! Canada is a fairly large place. Can you narrow down a location a little more?

I believe it was Ontario. I'm pretty sure.

Digger1

It's from a small town in  northern Ontario Called Ramore about 8 to 9 hrs north of Toronto
I think the parts were changed when it was in Quebec

Any info on what happened to the Daytona that the nose and wing came from?

I used to live in Haileybury (now Temiskaming Shores) 22+ years ago, we were going to timmins (BIG CITY TRIP....) i swear i remember seeing that car in a yard somewhere. Granted, i was 12, but it rings too many bells, especially being in the frozen north.
sorry no other info, but small world.

First time seeing that site Dave?  ;)

I think it may have my first Daytona on there - from BC. Had a bullet hole in the wing.
And maybe my Barrel Bee?

Oh yes those two for sure are on it...the place in BC was a goldmine for pictures.

I do have a question about your Barrel Bee. Send me a PM please as last time I sent you one your inbox was full.

Looks similar to one of the Daytona wings in my colllection i got from Canada. Customs held it up being insured for so much $$ and them never seeing one. They called me wanting to drill it for drugs, after they googled the car, they released it without drill holes! Close one!

That had to be over 20 years ago when I bought that car....and a bunch of spare Daytona parts -  that I found out later came off of 666. Mine was 665. All I remember is that it was near Vancouver.
