I am looking at this car. My wife is not a fan on the color combo. I like it. What are you thoughts?

I love the bronze, not a fan of light colored vinyl roofs though. I like that the roof and stripe match. Is that that RT/SE that Ive seen for sale, how much restoration has been done to it?

Overall I love the car!

It is one of the two I have seen for sale recently. It has only had the trunk floor replaced and a repaint years ago. Original owner is selling it.

I like it..... and I think it will grow on you over time because they are extremely comfortable cars !  :2thumbs:

but then again, what's NOT to like about an R/T SE in ANY Color !

May I ask what kind of money they are asking for it ?

I like it because it is unusual, but not because it is one of my favorite colors or combinations of colors.

looks ok  :yesnod:   good  :coolgleamA:
! its one owner but  not my favorite color combination !  although if i really wanted a second generation charger its more important  how rot free ,  & what kind of work its had done  &  quality of the work !, is it matching numbers?, any old crash damage poorly repaired, how original & complete it is  etc  & is it  in the price range you want to pay !  that would be the deciding factor today , as apposed to getting the color & option combo i wanted !
Feel free to post any relevant picture you think we all might like to see in the threads below!

is that the original color combo - or has something been changed/added?  T7 CRT V1W V8W

fresh T7 looks great in the sunshine  :drool5:  the white would make it POP!

Is it T5 copper ?

Or is it that bronze color?

kevink

Paint code is T7 Dark Bronze Poly

Bronzedodge

Not bad.  It would be better if it was T3 tan with a tan vinyl top and Saddle tan interior.     :icon_smile_big:
Mopar forever!

I don't like the color combo even though I restored a car Similar before. :Twocents: LEON.

I've yet to see a combo like mine was originally, light gold poly, tan top and interior SE. No fender tag to back it up but the evidence was overwhelming.
I have the original leather seats, car has light group, rocker moldings, chunks of tan top under windshield and rear glass, the small holes in the sail panels, pedal dress up, AC, PS, PB and so on

6bblgt

"POLY" was not used by Chrysler in the naming of their paint colors - that is from one of the paint manufacturers  :eek2:

Chrysler used "METALLIC"  :2thumbs:

1969 Charger SEs are a little tough on car/interior color combinations due to no available WHITE interiors

with leather ONLY available in GREEN, BLUE, TAN & BLACK - we end up with many green/GREEN, blue/BLUE & tan/TAN color combos
especially in warmer climate areas (where the cars "survived" better) & original owners trying to avoid the heat sink of a BLACK interior

closest I can come up with - there's a sunroof R/T that is Y4 with a C6T interior (non-SE)  & here's a tag from a gold convertible Plymouth with a white & tan interior

Not a fan but it's the odd ball colors these days people like more as you see less and less of them

Not a fan, but I bought it anyways.

I LOVE that combo... and BEING AN SE EVEN MORE. One of my dreamed color combos specially on an SE
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

I like the '69 tan shades just fine.  I prefer them over the green or yellow or cream colors.
