I should be pickin up my car this weekend,it has 430s in the rear,3800 stall,525 to 550 hp,built 440.a pretty stout machine,as of now its not tubbed or even minni tubbed,so i`m limited on the tires that can fit on my car.i have a set of 15in. 29in tall by 11.5 in wd. that hit the leafs.no good. my question is i have another set of 14in. by 8.5 in.that are 26in tall.do you think they are to small of a tire for the hp. and gearing in this car.i`m just trying to use what i have right now.
THANKS DAVE

You really need to read better.

As for the tires, I'd try the 8.5s before I'd tub the car, but that's just me.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

I'm slightly confused on which car you're talking about here... but I think 4.30 x 26" tire = smoke.     Dr. Diff and maybe other folks will make you some offset spring hangers to move the springs in some.   I moved mine in 1/2" just because I could.    It would require welding new perches on the rear also.   It's not a lot but it makes it so you can use the entire wheel well up without hitting the springs.

sorry if i wasn`t clear,no the dartsport is the one i`m pickin up soon. it has the 26x 8.5 on it in the pic the charger is pretty much retired from the track. i`ll probably just run them and see what happens until the end of the season and then get it minni tubbed.i`ve got alot of suggestions and feedback since yesterday.move springs in and shock perches may also be an option.
