Hey gang...

Looking to see if there is a service or process to restore to OEM condition the heater controls of our 68-70 B-bodies. I know the '68's are slightly different, so I'm more focused on the '69-'70 version. I wish to stray away from the decals for the lettering..

Thanks in advance..

Hi Troy,
When I redid mine I felt the same way. I really did not want to put a sticker on the slider buttons.
So what I did was to machine the lettering into the buttons. It helps that I work in a machine shop and I could draw up the lettering in CAD and then machine it myself in a CNC. I will try and get pics

the best option I'm aware off at this moment for chomre touching s the Molotov Chrome pen... rest of options are just a bright silver/argent. Molotov pen is actually like a chrome finish. Not like the vacuum chrome finish but the closest. I have a friend who got it and  after tried several kind of paints ( included silver pens ) told me is the BEST option he has found

Thanks for the links.. I like the pencil trick. I recall that from a LONG time ago, forgot all about it...... But, did you use Dave P. for the "Fan" and "Temp" button resto?
Yes, David's float on decals for FAN and TEMP.... can you tell??
