The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Holy crap!  :rotz:

Does it still have the numbers on it?  I didn't look at the auction, as ebay pages take a while to load for me.

For those wondering if it had the numbers:

QuoteThe cowl section is in great shape with no rust...and stamping is in place. I have the fender tag and part of the door tag. I have contact info to the lady with the original build sheet, window sticker, and other documents. I also have info on the guy who last had the title and a lead on where the original motor is. I will give all info to the winner

I love this:

Yup.  Rebody.  There will soon be "a numbers matching 70 AAR, well documented car" add on Ebay, I bet.

Because he needs it for another project ::)
I'm sure that Barry Washington, owner of the Challenger T/A registry already has this one flagged  for a rebody alert. Hopefully he's keeping tabs on the current owner of this car since it sounds like he's also making another T/A.

Now how do you explain that to your significant other that you found the 70 AAR you always wanted and she comes home from work to see this in your driveway.

I would be shot on the spot by my wife, no questions asked.  She wouldn't kill me but would maim me to remind me as to the stupidity I did on buying scrap metal for $6700!!

Some people have too much money and no brains!!! ???

Arthu®

Somewhere soon there is going to pop up a very nice looking AAR Cuda with those numbers. Be on the look out.

This hobby needs some kind of database for cars with rare collectible VINs that are now completely demolished.

Somebody is gonna pay good money for that VIN in the next year or two thinking it's a real surviving car.

I note parted / crushed cars as I am made aware of them, the VINs for these cars are in the same database on the site as the "found" items waiting to be claimed.  :yesnod:

We had Dent Wizard come out one time to work on a classic car. It was pretty funny watching him struggle, he was accustomed to working on the new tin foil cars.
