1968 charger rear shock fully extended length

hi guys,has anyone have an idea what the rear shock length(fully extended) on 68 charger,stock ride height springs etc.have a set of new konis and suspect they may be too short,thanks in advance

Measuring a '70 Charger RT rear shock.  The car was junked in the 1980s.  I'm not 100% sure this is the factory shock but it looks & feels like one.  These numbers are from the center of the mounting eye holes at each end.  


12.75" compressed.

21" extended.

Cheers Mike DC,thats what i have,had to jack the axle up quite a bit to install them.dont suppose i will really know until the car is on the floor with all the weight in it
