EDM lifters

Looking at lifters from Johnson . 440/500 Solid lifter  probably .530-.550  lift .  6000rpm max.   Guessing  120# seat, 350# over the nose . Have not picked the cam yet Mopar 452 alum. heads with Hartland 1.5 roller tip rockers.

Would the lifters with oil holes be a good choice?

What size hole?

Can you take too much oil from the crankshaft?

Johnson lifters have good rep...I went with Howards EDM's..size of the hole doesn't matter much...wont effect oil pressure
The EDM's can help with the cam wipe out risk

I have used the Howards twice. ZERO problems with them. I thought the hole was something really small like .012. I have 50 lbs of oil pressure rolling down the road at
2000 rpms.
