I have a set of 915 heads that I am considering putting on my 440.  The 440 is .040 with L2355 Speed Pro pistons.  The block has not been decked any.  The heads have just been lightly surfaced to clean them up.  My 440 has a Mopar Performance HP purple cam (268 284 .450 .458 115).  With a .041 compressed head gasket it looks like compression will be right at 10:1.  The rest of the combination:  CH4B intake, 750 carter, HP exhaust manifolds, 2 1/2 exhaust.  Will I be asking for trouble with detonation with this setup?  The best fuel that we have around here is 93 octane.

You'll be fine with 10:1 iron head on 93.  Worst case, you'll have to play with the total advance.
