For that much $$ I would want a wing on the back of the car and a pointy nose

Funny that they left the indent for the wiper motor in the firewall.  Nice car though.  Needs the stock grille put back in.

70 sublime

No cover on ring gear torque converter is a little odd also

they do nice work but I think it looked better before they started. hope they didn't cut up a real R/T car :scratchchin: :shruggy: Use a lame 318 car. :shruggy:

I actually like many of the things about the car. I like the tighter front bumper fitment. The rear bumper recess looks good to me too. I'm not totally sold on the interior but I do like it somewhat. Yes, the wheels are huge but I don't mind them that much. I don't like the grille or the engine bay.

The VIN is listed in the ebay ad:

So looks like a real '70 R/T to me  :shruggy:

Those look like huge expensive wheels, probably one-offs.  The tires have basically no sidewalls at all.

Unusable tires = not a real car.

Not a real car.....
You really expect any car built to this caliber to be used for grocery shopping or to pick up a buddy at the airport? Anyone ever see an Uber driver show up in a classic car? Um, no.
A car like this is a show piece. It was built to take out once in awhile and play with, then stow away again. It does not need to be practical for the intended purpose.

Weekend cars are still usable in a limited way.  But I would be scared to drive that '70 even once.  That wheel/tire combo has no margin to cope with an imperfect surface.

I don't hate it.  I just think cars like that are more artwork than automobile.

Certainly not my cup of tea.  To me, those big ass wheels look ridiculously stupid. I could think of a lot better ways to spend $300K.

I agree!! Seen 2 lame 318 cars sell for almost 50K in the last few months.

Lots here to like or not.  I think the engine looks fantastic and clean.  But it kills me with a build like this that they did not address the wiper motor firewall location... big oversight and a huge distraction from the engine.   The radiator cover is nice, but proportionally a little large IMHO.

I like what they did with the trim (black), and leaving door handles on it.

I appreciate the console work, specifically the switches/etc. hidden.

I think the location/etc. of the oil catch can behind the oil pan sump is clever - have not seen that before.  Easy drain valve.  Nice.

Grill is a fail.  As is tail light panel (which does look clean) But both are too much of a departure from stock (like fuel filler).

Overall, it is a very nice looking build - i would drive it and compliment the owner.   Just fix the grill and firewall :)

i'm feeling pretty good about my 70 Charger R/T Daytona stock car project. Unfortunately someone cut up a real 70 Charger R/T to make that one too,but it wasn't me. My car has a full Nascar chassis under it. My engine, chassis and body aero package are all proven to be good to more than 200 MPH. I am trying to do the opposite, that they did on this car,and put more Charger back into the racecar.
