long term block storage

I will be storing a recently cleaned and sonic checked for possible future use. The block is bare ,without freeze plugs. Will be stored in a heated garage. What's the best way?

Yep, that's the best.... lifter bores, squirt it in Oil Galleries, everywhere.
And probably needs re-Tanked again to remove the grease when used later.... but it's the only way to protect/seal against humidity in ambient air or temperature swings that cause moisture to condense on a chunk of iron ?

Think 'cosmoline' when storing surplus arms at an armory.
