Hey 69bronzeT5
If I'm reading the data tag right it looks like Sep 14 1970...I have no doubt it is the original wing because I bought this car back in 1980 with this wing. I don't know what factory yours came from, seems some differences based on where the car is built.

Hey Doug!

Thanks for the information! Mine was built at Lynch Road so definitely makes me wonder.

Hey, no problem, glad to share. FYI I like the 70 wing better then the 71 wing so I'm glad the car came that way

So here are more pictures of the car. Because it is a green interior there was a lot of paint work to do. The lower door panels needed paint along with most of the plastic trim, console, dash and dash pad. Upper door panels and seat covers are repo. Kohr's Kustoms did all the work painting and installing the interior. I think you will agree they did a fantastic job.

Here is the NOS booster I was lucky to find. They never look as good as this even when they are re-plated.

This is the original Distributer for a 71 440 sixpack. If you look close at the vacuum advance you will see why. One side of the wires goes to the idle solenoid, the other goes to the batt.

The Brite Tips were an option in 1971. This car didn't have that option. Even though most people would have installed the tips, I chose to stay faithful to factory original and omit them for the down turn pipes. It does give the rear a different look without two tips poking out the bottom of the splash pan...I kinda like it because it's different.

And of course, can't forget the Mr. Norm's decals!

So this is what the car looked like when I found her back in 1980 or so. The car sat in this spot for a couple of years.

This is what she looked like "back in the day" circa late 80s and 90s. My favorite color for 71 Chargers....to bad she was born green...

And of course...this is what we used to do with them "back in the day"...no trailer queens...only drive em like you stole em...

Great thread, one very cool car, hope you're getting plenty of fun summer miles in pedalling that 6 pack 4speed around.
Am hoping to get hold of a 71 R/T or Bee for my next Charger ahead, will see how that plays out.
Feel free to put up a few update pictures if you care to.
Cheers.
