Hello again,

The 69 Charger I recently purchased came with a new in box Bumblebee stripe. I'm planning to take it to a decal shop to get it professionally installed. The kit didn't come with any instructions or measurements.

Is it a question of centering the side strip to the middle of the side marker and go from there or is there more to it? Anyone has instructions or measurements laying around?

Thanks in davance

Chris

Line up with side marker lights and match trunk stripe to sides.

Not hard, Mock it up by taping it in place, get an idea of how it will look. with soay water (I use dove dish detergent) wet the area peel and slide into the the position you need, then squeegee it down and let it dry

not mine but this give you an idea

LOL.. I need to start charging royalties. "not hard" maybe, nerve racking... you bet your ass!

Ass end of car cleaned with dish soap and water and then naptha to be spotless...

Trunk section going down shows a tad more of the process... DO NOT POKE AIR BUBBLES with a needle, as tempting as it may be. They show as dark circles later on and trap dirt. My small bubbles took almost a month to disappear on their own.

Thanks both, that makes me tempted to do it myself.

Note the prep in my trunk video. Cleanliness is vital. Fortunately I just happen to have a lot of aluminum sheet handy, it was cleaned just like the car was.

Also note, I don't lend out my assistant !  :icon_smile_big:
