Hello,

So a local gentleman sold me an 11 inch clutch dust cover, and the bolt holes dont line up. I have 73 charger with 4 speed manual (originally 400 car, now 440). Currently i have 10.95 in clutch, 1 in 23 spline. My understanding is that i need an 11 inch dust cover, is that correct? Or do i need a smaller one? Im having a hard time finding one. My outer most holes are about 15inches apart vs 16 inches on the cover that i bought.

On the side, me and this guy are getting into a fight over returning my money. He tells me that this is correct cover and that i didnt provide him with correct info (i clearly told him the size of my clutch, so he said it should be 11 inch clutch cover). Were there different bolt pattern 11 inch clutch dust covers?
68 charger, 383, 727, 3.55

All passenger car big blocks after '69 used the 130-tooth flywheel with either a 10.5" clutch or a 10.95" clutch. Even though the 10.95" clutch is often referred to as an 11" clutch, it uses the same flywheel and bellhousing as the 10.5" so you need a dust cover for a 10.5".
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
