This is an LO23 Dart.  A Hurst SS Hemi car.  One of around 80 made.  Yes.  80.  With only ONE zero.  As in, one of the rarest Mopars made.  Capable of hitting 10s in the 1/4 with just a tune and a set of slicks out back.  It's a racing legend.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

I've always heard an estimated total of 150 SS A bodies, 80 Darts and 70 Barracudas?
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

LO 23 SUPER STOCK HEMI DART  :bow: :bow:, man thats  awesome . and still to day the SS DART &  SS BARRACUDA( all be it mostly clones now because of there value and rarity) still show the brand X's the fastest way home. holding the both  elapsed time & terminal speed records ,for both auto & stick :drive: shift . :bow:

The key word being "estimated".  It's accepted as fact that they made the required 50 of each and it's a generally accepted likelihood that they made a few more of each and more Darts than Plymouth's.
No matter how you cut it, you're right.  It's one of the rarest of all musclecars and it is a legend that remains unchallenged nearly 40 years later.
