I am looking for the 180 degree bend portion of the heater hose (on firewall).
It is the black hose in the (old) picture.  5/8 ID and 4-1/2 inches center to center.
I tried a piece of regular hose but I can see that it will kink.
I tried searching but didn't do well.
Thank You
John

The spring might work , not sure, but it is the wrong size.
If I can find the right hose, I would prefer to go that way.  Thank You.

Try a Gates 18701/NAPA 10701. You could probably trim the ends to make it fit as I did in my '55 Plymouth.

The spring does work. I've been using one like this for years.
Gotta love a '69

Doc
Yes.
I have springs in my lower radiator hose.
The link you posted is for a 3/4 in dia spring.
The heater hose is 5/8 dia.

Thanks.
Before the last post, I wound up getting the suggested gates hose.  I trimmed 1 inch off each end and it appears to fit, with a little fitting help.
The parts guy searched on line and matched a $7.xx price. If I question its performance, thanks for the correct option.

I would have to do some serious digging in the old memory banks. But a molded 5/8 hose is avail thru most any better stocked auto parts stores. Not likely your gonna find it on the shelf at autozone.

I used to stock it when i sold restoration parts, but thats been a while
