How common is the cloth and vinyl interior on the '69 Charger? What is the interior code?

My 69 Charger had it when new
The car still had the original back seat ( or what was left of it ) and could see it was cloth and vinyl

I have C5X on my fender tag

Wow! That's not many. I wonder if people didn't like the cloth and vinyl or not many people knew it was available as an option.

It looks neat but I wonder how durable it would have been ?

Thinking about ordering a set of new seat covers and having these thoughts

I think it would be nice to sit on cloth instead of vinyl. It might be more comfortable than sitting on hot vinyl.
I think I would really like the cloth & vinyl seats.

Anyone have a pic of how it would have looked like?

I think Ive only ever seen one or two that had it.

A very refreshing change for the typical all vinyl

member talkiemopar used to have a parts car with that interior.

I have it in my '69. I love it! It'll be staying (with new covers of course).

Would be interesting to know the % of '69 black interiors overall...for comparisons sake.

6bblgt

the "US shipped OPTION & ACCESSORY report" covers 94.5% of production (84,306 of 89,200) 1969 Chargers (XP & XS/XX)
the 5.5% uncounted (4,894) - are Chargers shipped to Canada, Exported to other countries, or shipped from the assembly plants to locations within the USA after the report was created

installation rate:
82.3% = vinyl interior (6-choices) ~69,384 Chargers
16.0% = leather interior (4-choices) ~13,489 Chargers
01.7% = cloth & vinyl interior (1-choice) ~1,433 Chargers

this report DID NOT track individual colors

the manner in which this data is available has built in ERROR of +/-42 Chargers   :smilielol:  & is one reason the "1 of 1" claims are fundamentally BS   :slap:

6bblgt

I collect data/info & have interior codes for 643 Chargers:
82.9% are vinyl interiors
15.1% are leather interiors
02.0% are cloth & vinyl interiors

NOT a huge difference to the above "OPTION & ACCESSORY" numbers - but in the same "ballpark"

& an idea of how the 11 different interiors are distributed  :scope:

~39.0% C6X BLACK vinyl 251 cars
~12.8% C6W WHITE vinyl 82 cars
~10.9% C6G GREEN vinyl 70 cars
~07.8% C6T TAN vinyl 50 cars
~07.5% C6D BLUE vinyl 48 cars
~07.3% CRX leather BLACK 47 cars
~05.0% C6R RED vinyl 32 cars
~04.5% CTR leather TAN 29 cars
~02.3% CRG leather GREEN 15 cars
~02.0% C5X BLACK CLOTH & VINYL 13 cars
~01.0% CRD leather BLUE 6 cars

this small sample of 643 Chargers  "my registry"  is ONLY 0.7% of production  :smilielol:  & is one reason the "1 of 1" claims are fundamentally BS   :slap:

any of the other data collectors care to share their numbers?  :2thumbs:

Can any one figure out the Legendary web sight and see what a new set of these covers cost for the front and back seats ?

I tried a couple times today and filled in the search form then end up with 5000 things to look at  :brickwall: :brickwall:
