Looking for photos of the correct 70 Super Bird brake proportioning valve and distribution block photos. Trying to help a friend determine if his set up is correct. I think he may have a 69 style style set up that is causing issues with the 4 speed reverse lock out rod not fitting properly. I am pretty sure his is the same setup as in the photo below. Thanks in advance for any photos or assistance.  Joe

They plug that outlet because the secondary valve feeds both front brake lines.

Yes the metering valve builds pressure allowing the rears to start working before the fronts come in on the single piston Kelsey/Hayes calipers. Makes for some fun bleeding...

There is no 69 set up that looks like the 70.  There is an early 70 3 piece and later 2 piece, but I would not know what is specifically correct for the SB.  Distribution block to metering valve for the front KH disc.  Then proportioning valve to rear drums on frame rail.  Later in 70 they combined the meter valve on the distribution with a rivet bracket, vice separate bolt on bracket.

69 was bendix disc with no metering valve.  So you just had distribution block and proportioning valve.
