Mytur Binsdirti

That's the same color combination as my first Charger back in 1975.

Bronzedodge

Same color combo as mine.  I'd have to pluck the emblems off the door and get a real top rad hose.  Dealer Air apparently.
Mopar forever!

:2thumbs:

Not crazy about the door emblems either but other than its a pretty good looking car.

JB400

Looks like it needs a negative battery cable.

I guess the bracket on the hood is a lock

Were those door emblems,(383 magnum) an extra option, dealer installed, or just bought and put on by one of the owners for the sake of it?
Could you order or have installed from the factory any extra badges?

They're from a 70-71 Challenger.

The Hemi badge was the only door badge and it was a standard thing.

Damn good looking car.  I like it. And in all honesty could see it pulling that kind of money based on sales lately

Just not to me

Bronzedodge

Uhhh, I just noticed the console.  I'm still inclined to believe it's dealer-installed air, based on the look of the overall package.  Looks like a small pentastar on the evaporator unit.  The A-body consoles are also sliced at the factory for A/C, but only about 1/2".  It's actually difficult to tell at glance.  But knowing how fragile our B body consoles are, I'd be concerned about that one.   Have to Dino-reinforce it.
Mopar forever!

Underdash units were certainly a dealer installed item.  Factory a/c vents for a 69 Charger would be in the dash.  Doesn't mean it isn't  a factory a/c car that was just restored wrong for whatever reason but yes, the evidence points to it being a non a/c car originally.

Here's all the evidence you need.....

Yep, that's a non-AC firewall.

Yup, familiar...Barrett-Jackson, Thursday, January 16, lot 690

I remember this car back in the early 80's.  I saw this car last year on a classic car consignment website. The car was down here in Pembroke Pines, FL, about a  mile from where I lived.
The owner resided in a 55 plus community called Sunswept Lakes.  It was kept in a carport , but was daily driven.
I used to see this car in traffic when I was daily driving my 68 Coronet around town.  Pulled up to it at traffic lights numerous times.  The car sounded good and looked good back then like
the pictures that were posted here.  Around 85 the car disappeared.  Either the owner sold the car or moved moved away.  The owner took care of this car.  It was probably the nicest
69 Charger in the area.  There were a good number of 68 and 69 Chargers on the streets where I lived.

You know, I actually don't hate them.  :scratchchin:
