HELLO- THE HEADLIGHT COVERS ARE HELD IN PLACE WITH PINS. WHEN YOU WANT HEADLIGHTS YOU SIMPLY TAKE OUT THE PINS AND LIFT THE COVERS OFF. THE REAR WING IS NOT FIBERGLASS. I THINK IT'S ALUMINUM, BUT I'M NOT POSITIVE. THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THE CAR. -KENT

if i remember rite. that car sold for around $24000, i would of never accepted the car when i went to pay for it. it didn't take him long to sell it again.

as of HAVING A SPINE. I'll stand up to any man and tell them to go f them selfs but i won't put down another mans car. even if it is a peice of shit. just not my style

Well not sure what having a spine has to do with this  I do not, you do not and others may not like the car or think it was not done perfectly.  Maybe that is not what the guy who built it was after.

Truth is someone may like it.  I would not have done it that way.  However saying it is a POS without seeing it well.  That is BS.

So this is the 2nd car we've seen on Ebay that was an HLPAG car.

It's safe to assume that both these guys bought cars and then realized thet were HLPAGED...i.e. suckered.

Now, they're trying to unload them.

I suppose some would say that they're selling for other reasons. But, given the fact that these are cars from the clowns in Illinois, I'd say that saying they're both POS, is more than reasonable.

Well.....OBVIOUSLY..this is not a Daytona...hence the inset rear window.   (Not to mention the selling price)  But...I wouldn't call it a piece of shit by any means.  The description states that it was once a 440 R/T car  and was resurrected to be a Daytona tribute.  True...a little more attention could have been exercised in the headlight buckets,  but...a piece of shit?.....I disagree with that outburst.

Sold for $ 29,900.00   

Well, although it is/was a HLPAG car, and with the going prices of R/T's, Real Wing cars, and even good clones, its probably not such a bad deal. If the buyer wants to invest a few more $$$ [well alot of $$$] he/she can restore that to its original R/T self, or they can go the Daytona clone route, just do it right. They've already got most of the parts anyway.

Oh....I agree!!!   I was just saying...if it was an actual REAL Daytona...the price would have been a LOT more.   The price it sold for was a good price though.
