Hello all i'm currently building one of those drive train trolley's the ones you mount the engine and trans with cross member with all the suspension attached .My question is has anyone built one of these if so what height from the ground did you make the cross member sit so its easy enough to lower the body on a hoist to assemble together thanks

I built mine several years ago so I don't have the actual measurements but as you can see in the pic, it is pretty low.  Using the body lift tool from US Car tool, I was easily able to slide everything under the car. Good luck!

I see you have a lot of stuff already installed.  Hook up the starter cable now if possible.  Putting them on later may make you wish you had acted sooner.

I had a couple of low (12" high) drive train rolling stands even used nutting carts in the past but all are too low for me.  At that height many times the lift arms get in the way.
For the past several years I have been using rolling tables about 36" high.  It is easier to kneel on the floor or sit in a chair unbolting or bolting everything rather than laying on a
creeper or laying on the floor.  It is also easy to assemble everything on a table before installation also.  I could not find any pictures of the low carts, just a blurry one of one
of the two tables I use.  One has swivel casters on all the legs but the one in the picture has swivels only on one end which works better for me.
My first Charger was a Stock Car.
