Is electrolysis a problem in our radiators?

Never heard anything about this before so just wondering.  Here's a simple/cheap fix.  I've looked around and there is some conversations in the Corvette world.  I don't remember anything about it on this forum.

I replaced the drain cock for a zinc anode years ago, it has never shown any sign of working, which I guess is a good thing as it indicates there is no issues. From my experience most don't have problems without an anode.
