Hello everybody, I'm looking for a blueprint for a 440 RB engine. I can't find one on the internet. In particular I'm looking for the cylinder head/block dowel pin to cylinder bore dimensions. I'd prefer not to have to haul the block into work and load on a machine to reverse engineer it. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, i'll bite. What are you trying to engineer?

I'm a CNC machinist and currently we have some open machinery at work.  I'm in the process of rebuilding my first set of cylinder heads, I've gone with the less popular 516 closed chambers.  I'd like to up my compression even more and I had the idea of decking the heads, but doing a circular 4.320"  interpolation around the solid section of the chamber face so that it will drop down into the block bore.  It should displace volume, like a domed piston.

Just bolt the heads on the empty block & go in from the crank side & scribe the heads, keep left & right heads

I had a set of those heads, flowed very nicely. They were sweet but done in without hardened seats. (After many smiley miles.)

Bingo Charlie !

That's the way we used to do/unshroud the top of the Blocks for the Maxi Heads..... just layout Blue the Head Deck, Bolt them on an empty bare block.... roll the Block over and go in from the bottom side and scribe the cylinder circle onto the Head

Flow is Flow..... more than one way to skin a cat, and all BB Mopar Heads can Flow enough for 500+ hp, even 516's

Yup I gave them back to Chuck, he worked them.
