What is a really nice numbers matching 383 4 speed with air worth these days? Will it fetch $55,000? It is a factory air car! Well documented.

going to depend A LOT of in person condition

IMO $55K is pushing it for a 383 car .

I have a problem with my head still in the 90's/2000s so the 55  seems crazy.  I once had a B5 AC 383 4spd.  That is really rare so it might find a buyer being such a cool optioned car.  Harsh reality is by 70 market has RTs.  With the Covisd crap I am not sure anything is really selling and think market is more fickle than ever...

Nice car, good luck.

I have seen the car in person. Been trying to buy it for about 20 years. I think he is getting closer to wanting to sell it. The car is as nice as the pictures show. Obviously I don't want to pay to much but I am a little emotionally involved with it!

Nacho-RT74

not just 383 but also Magnum? ( I think that it was a mid year option, right ? )... I think from the distance it could be on $34-38K rate being fair

50 all day long. Numbers matching pristine 4 speed car in a nice color and desirable year. 383/4 is a nice combo.

69 383 with A/C is the 330 horse version. There is no 335 horse A/C assembly in 69.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

Deduct $1,300.00 for the incorrect radiator.

hemi-hampton

Deduct $20k for not being a R/T. Puts it at $35k :Twocents: :shruggy: :scratchchin:

Did owner give you a hint on price they are looking for ?

Or was it make me an offer type of thing and you do not want to go too low as you would not get another chance ?

Are you going to keep the 68 you have if you get the 69 ?

Hard to say what to offer because what ever it is it will a lot more than they have in the car if they have owned it a long time

Ever think of saying trade plus some cash on your part or are they at the point in life to get out of toy cars ?

I sold my 68 383 auto a/c car to a dealer for 58k.

They put magnums on it and listed at 80+ if I remember correctly.

Not sure what it sold for but wasn't for sale for very long.

He is looking for and found a 1970 GTX that he wants. The 70 GTX is his dream car. I am keeping my 1968 Charger. I have to much time and money invested in it to sell. I am not sure I could get my money back for the complete nut and bolt restoration it just went through. I really don't want to own ever 1968 through 1970 Charger. Just all the ones I can buy. 😂

I hope that's sarcasm cause you're really low balling it.

gtx6970

$35 k is REALLY low balling it

But $55k is getting awfully close to decent RT territory , IMO

hemi-hampton

I'd buy a nice R/T for $55k before I paid that much for a regular plain jane non R/T. :Twocents:

It's hard to even see any detail on this car with the small thumbnail pics. :brickwall:
