Some of those pics are of something else, like a station wagon.  One muffler installed backwards either way.

They filled in the rear valance corners  :P

They have one muffler in backwards but when they picked the car up for the picture they also squashed it with the hoist
next project 70 Charger FJ5 green

I'd stay away from this one. A lot of money is being asked for a half ass restoration.
1. Rear valance corners are mudded over with Bondo (my biggest pet peeve)
2. Doors are body color underneath the door panel. Not white like they should be.
3. Engine bay is blacked out. I understand that for a General Lee, but why do that on a "stock" restoration?
4 Instrument gauge cluster faces are yellowed. Not a big deal, but for 80k they should be white.
1969 Charger 383/auto
1969 Charger R/T 440/auto (waiting to be restored)
1972 Chevelle SS clone 383 sbc
1959 Chevy Apache short bed stepside
1968 Charger (glorified parts car)
Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.

There's 2 different cars in the pix of the rear end / exhaust.   The 2nd pic is some kinda BOP 8.5 with rear disks.

Black Betty:  1969 Charger R/T - X9 440 six pack, TKO600 5 speed, 3.73 Dana 60.
Sinnamon:  1969 Charger R/T - T5 440, 727, 3.23 8 3/4 high school sweetheart.

...

A dead giveaway of bodywork is the filled-in gaps between the end caps and the rear valance.. The gaps between the end caps and the quarters were filled in...

Could have at least gotten matching front parking lamps and put the heater hose bracket on correctly.

based on the asking price, I would have hoped they would have installed a complete body bumper kit.. Doors don't have any from one picture.. Strikers on the door jamb painted blue as well... Quick job it seems...

This is the photo that caught my eye.  The metal appeared to be flaking or the bondo job poor.  Then the under coating (a warning sign) appears to be covering up erosion/rust.

Thank you for the input... back to work.

Terrible resto.

Someone should message that moron from Flemings this thread.
Or perhaps he has already been pointed out all the wrongs with this car hence hasnt put one of his talk him self up videos going thru his cars.

nchrome

Arm rest on passenger side is missing a screw or someone really leaned on it hard :shruggy:

They split up the group sale and sold the 69 just before I called.  For those into the 500 it is still available.

I looked at buying this car, but I just couldn't get over the green on green on green.
