middle console '68 is this correct?

I have the heavy chrome centre console in my 68, but in looking for something I've seen the wood grain style too? I thought the Wood grain only arrived in '69 on, is that correct

Also, I need the little retaining clips (if that's what is used) to hold the console lid on, and the missing lock, are these still available

You have the correct console lids.  They changed to the wood inlay in 69, also for 70
