While assembling my engine l noticed something a little query (old school here) my heads are dated 10/25/68. And l just noticed that there was only single valve springs. Where's most Chryslers big blocks had two springs per valve.  Is it cause of the build date of these heads why they have single springs. The engine is a matching numbers engine for my 69 charger. Two barrel single exhaust but l do plan on making her doul exhaust.

Me too.... and I don't intend as far as any women's movement ?

Single V/Springs(NO Dampner) = Low/Std Perf 383 or 2 Barrel Engine
and
Single V/Spring with an inner flat wounde Dampner = Hi Perf Engine
