I am excited.  Heading down to Brainerd International Raceway tomorrow.  This will be my first trip with the 440 and my new tranny.  Everytime I had planned to go last year my plans fell through.  Brand new slicks and everthing this time.  I will report back with my timeslips.. :icon_smile_big:

Ok I am back.

I didn't make it into the 12's but I am knocking on the door.  My best time was the following:

R/T      .284
60'       1.909
330'     5.480
1/8      8.405
MPH    84.02
1000'  10.936
1/4     13.081
MPH    104.69

My car developed a bad hiccup(carb problem) during the day that occurred everytime I left the line.  If not for that and my slow R/T I would have been in 12's I think.  The car was hooking up excellent all day.  I did lift the left front tire on three different occasions so that was exciting.  I am trying to upload a video that my daughter shot on my digital camara.  A little shakey but it gives a taste of a fun day at the strip.  I weighed the car with me in it and it weighed in at 4040lbs so I feel pretty good about my times.  All in all I am counting the day a success and I definitely have a reason to go back.

Ok gonna try this video.  Let me know if you have any problems viewing.  I am new at this.

On this particular run I pushed through the light and as a result had a 13.4 time...bummer.
