Was like 2005 or so some guy had a 2nd Gen and said he'd make it a "Dodgecharger.com forum car" if we all sent him free parts. In return he would drive it to car shows and display it in our collective name. I recall a few people sending him stuff!

NHCharger

A couple of members accused him and his wife of trying to get free parts to build a car, and after that it was all downhill from there. They did get some free parts and did offer to return them. Think her name was Shelley.

Ah! OK so I wasn't imagining it. Kinda thought it was weird deal, no wonder it went away.

Jonathan and Shelley. Sent them money to help out and never got it back.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I remember that. And he had his eye on a really rough shell. So it was offensive on many levels. Not only the Gofundme part, but it needed 10 times the purchase price in parts and labor just to see the road.
