I have constant power to the flasher through the pink wires, switch on or off. Flasher that I know works, plugged in. I don't know if the wire should be hot all the time, but it is. I'm wondering if it's the switch or something I'm missing. '68 Charger.

hazzard wiring is allways hot up to the switch ( with flasher plugged ). Once circuit is closed up to the bulbs ( hazard switch activated ), the flasher will begin to blink due the load being sucked by the bulbs. The load is what makes to heat the bimetallic on flasher
