quick story, my ex gf just called me and needs a part for her crown victoria that her dad is driving up to maine on saturday.  she asked me to find her a 1998-2000 impact switch(deploys the airbags).  stealership wants $400 for it, anyone got any leads for me how to get one cheaper.

funny how she calls when she needs something always and when she is fighting with her new loser boyfriend(s), i'm guessing most of her current boyfriends are car morons or not willing to help her out.  good thing she left me for no reason huh when i took care of her and enjoyed doing it.  guess she just lost respect for me cause i was too nice.  ok i'm off my rant and done feeling sorry for myself.  ef it i got a 69 charger!!!!! :METAL: :METAL: :METAL:

oh 98-00 ford crown victoria impact switch.  hook a brother up.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

yeah don't worry i don't/wouldn't own one, but that particular tool would engage this switch and also deploy the airbags, not good.
my ex is crazy for this crown vic as it is a nice car and her dad picks up auction cars and rebuilds them to sell, and he's got some talent.  we went down there one time on vacation and i was making him go to the shop every day to work on his stuff, i had a blast, he never got to see his daughter. heehee. my bad.

anyways i found one and it's really called an air bag sensor, those NC boys like to rename stuff all the time.  he's got a point though, impact switch works on impact where as a sensor would sense an impending impact, can't argue with common sense.lol
