Turn Signal/ Park lamp Question

In my 69 charger I restored the front park/turn signal assemblies. My new lens are marked R&L same as the old. I see no differences on either housing and the both have the same numbers stamped on them. The lens will fit either one and I just do not see and Right to Left differences. Can anyone explain the differences?
