Stripes question

How can this car have a "racing stripe" the same color as the body and also have a black 'horizontal stripe'?  I've never seen a factory stripe on a '68 besides the longitudinal (bumblebee) stripe.

longitudinal = horizontal - as in front-to-back
transverse = bumblebee - as in side-to-side

the stripe code on the FAKE fender tag - S/0 (sales code 310) = BLACK bumblebee

1968 steering wheels are made of a different material than 1969-'70 & are quite often "crack FREE!"
