Well that was certainly worth the watch....
I bought my wife a new T/A Challenger that has all the same stuff except the 392, still plenty of power to scare me, her, not so much :o

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."? 

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us. 

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
