I like it.  The red and white look sharp together.  70's are a great looking car.

What are these car selling for currently? I know the asking price are high but what are they actually selling for?

Nice looking car. How about some details.

I like it. Never a big fan of the longitudinal stripes but it works on this car and with the white top breaks up all that red nicely.

Nice color combo... much more pleasing than green (f8)brown or gold...

Any toys on it ?
4 speed
Air conditioning
6 pack ??

There is a nice blue 70 R/T up here ( Canada ) that has been restored and asking $70 000 that does not seem to be selling very fast

How much is the red car worth ?
Depends why it is for sale  :yesnod:

If you went and knocked on his house door and asked how much will you take vs is it sitting at the end of the drive way with a for sale sign on it

If it is all original and nice shape he could ask $75 K and wait till someone comes along
OR
Need the cash as want a different toy or pay some bills might take $50 K if you were standing there with the money

A lot will also depend on how the owner got the car themselves
Did they get it from a family member that passed away or remember paying big bucks for it 2 years ago just because they had to have it

Nice car.  I'd lose the stripes and the body colored tail panel but that's it....

That would be the downside of buying an actual nice survivor, they're only new once.....

Even something as simple as removing the longitudinal stripes, if you didn't care for them. I'd be conflicted about it.  :scratchchin:

Like it.
stripes and all. I'm done with perfect cars.

....for the right price

F8-4life

I like the combo and strip. Defiantly a stand out color for 1970.

Worth depends  A LOT on the  details , need more info.

I know of a couple 1970 Charger RT sales recently, neither was cheap

kevink

It is a Automatic with A/C. The transmission was replaced in 1976. So, not sure that it still qualifies as a survivor? Everything else is as it was when it rolled off the showroom floor.

Here is the bad! Only rust I have found. Both sides on rear valance and behind drivers wheel. Cars is showing 14,426 miles. Never a rebuild.

I REALLY miss my Plumb Crazy 70 RT...   I had a F8 Green on green on green that had the longitude stripes on it.   Looks better on red in my opinion.

Did the owner give you any idea on a price they were looking for to get out of it ?

"$40k to $45k is where they want to be" means they'll take 40K. If I were you I'd wave 37K cash in their face and have anther 3 grand with you if they don't budge on the 40K number.
