Over hear we feel that being alive (death is permanent in case you haven't noticed) takes priority over a slump in the economy (which wont be permanent)...over there (based on Trumps comments, your news programs and this forum)...a lot of you seem to think its more important the other way around. Over 13000 of you dead so far ...how many will it take before you take this seriously....if you stay under 100,000 you will be extremely lucky imo....we are at 6159 and averaging about 700 death per day with that rate still climbing. We are expecting 20 to 30000 deaths...even with our pretty much full nationwide lockdown......with the folks attitude over there and no one brave enough to tell you guys to stay indoors and enforce it....you are in for the long haul with high death numbers....not trying to make a political comment....just saying how it is.
I live in a low virus area....and to be honest I was staying in a treating it as a holiday, working on my cars and house....(we get paid 80% of our wages by the government until this is done under the "Furlough Workers" scheme)....but suddenly its very real for me. A friend is in hospital in intensive care (only 55....but a life long smoker...so yes you can partially blame him I guess) on a ventilator and now been put into an induced coma....25 to 30 chance of recovery. Staying in seems a small price to pay to save a life or two now doesnt it???
LMAO not at people dying, but at you. almost EVERY post you make you TRY to find a way to DIS America.... you know what,  you can F--k OFF :)

What a twat.....and so brave from behind your keyboard in another country...not many people I know would be brave enough to say that to my face....
Read it again...is what way was I DISing the U.S.? (DIS? Really?...how old are you?)...I was merely pointing out the FACT that the US is handling  the crisis badly and it's costing American lives. It's not just me saying this ...it's pretty much every other country going through the same thing. Try looking outward to the rest of the world rather than inward...then you might save some lives.
As for the other idiots comparing it to normal seasonal flu (as Mr Trump did)...well what can I say....whatever I say im thinking they probably won't have the IQ to understand.

Based not just on this thread and quite a few other recently ....both car and non car based. I'm going...and closing my account. I know that no one will care. My car will be on FB and a UK classic American car sight if anyone cares...I will post the links later for those interested....that will be my last post.
Those sites will let you have an opinion that , God forbid, might be contrary to someone else's....and we let people take the piss out of little old England...without verbally abusing them.
Its (mostly) been fun.

LMFAO, I PROMISE I would say it to your face, I will defend myself and America You TWIT

I agree. Sell the Charger and embrace the Euro mode of small cars and Socialistic lifestyle.

well, at least in Europe ppl doesn't need to be worried about health care &/or insurance :shruggy:

Either do I.
I also have a much lower tax burden and space around me to roam free. I'm not crammed into a 300 square foot apartment with no yard and neighbors on the other side of paper thin walls. We have wide roads, big cars, steak and chicken whenever we want it.

What's wrong with this picture?
1) Not enough dippy eggs for those three pieces of buttered toast.
2) What, no eating utensils? Do they think we are cannibals?
3) If you are right hand dominant, the handgun is positioned wrong, flip it over.
4) If you are a Southpaw, switch places with the plate of egg and the handgun.
6) If you are ambidextral...it does not matter if the handgun is on the right or the left.
Wait I see another one.

Yes, they do, because at the end of the day a universal healthcare system does not and can not guarantee that you will receive the health practices that you need.  For example, because the government controls healthcare they will always have a say in what procedures are done, whether you like it or not.  Health care isn't free, it always costs something, governments can only tax and steal from their people so much. The promise of universal healthcare and medical services just being "out there for the taking" is a fantasy...

Kern Dog

If the medical system in the UK was so great, why did Mick Jagger have his heart surgery HERE ?
Wasn't there a case in the news about some British father that wanted to bring his son here for some type of surgery and was DENIED a passport for it?
Oh, and I have another one....
England...The country that once dominated over 25% of the World now fits within a land mass that is 2/3 the size of California.
Our ways are not perfect but I support our President and will fight to defend the traditions of this great country.
If we are such a shitty country, why do people want to come here to live?
Fuck off with your criticism.

What is going on with this forum. It used to be such a wonderful place to visit. All of a sudden we have a handful of petty minded members abusing other members (in particular members from other countries) and telling them to "F" off simply because they express their opinions and have a viewpoint that differs.
This kind of behaviour is absolutely appalling!
Such abuse should not have to be tolerated by any member.

Where are the moderators??

Is diff to have the prefference on the private system for one or another doctor having the money no matter where in the world, than get acces to the public system no matter your economic position and be covered.

You are supporting your president because it is who it is and you like it ( and that's fine ) , but wondering if was another one ( you already said hated Obama and that's fine too ) will you support your president ? Mmmm. Maybe in that case you could accept critics/opinions no matter who or from where were posted them. How things change.

About the rest of the post... doesn't fit on the thread and could get into deeeeeeper ones.

Well actually even is true is not perfect ( and really, nothing in the world is, not even the paid healthcare system, not in USA or in any place in the world ) I can tell by myself and own experience being already in a surgery 5 months ago that it makes you feel safe you will have asistance anytime anywhere.

And of course, everybody pay taxes for that, but not just to cover the healthcare system. Remember in Europe the incomings for the state structure doesn't come from mother nature, like in the rest of the world.

YOU do, and YOU get the space and many of the ppl here, but NOT everybody is able to get space ( or healthcare ), neither in USA or anyplace in the world! In Europe there are same options for a big houses and yards. Food is also GREAT BTW ( if it matters on this :shruggy: ) But the same, not everybody gets the chance.

That's the problem, you are looking at this just from your own position only without set in the rest of ppl position ( including millions of USA citizens ). And that's why I'm saying ( friendly ) since the beginning open your mind!

In my opinion, it's pretty simple Fred. When you sign up, one of the rules you agree with is NO POLITICS on this forum.  So if and when you bring politics into nearly every reply you post, mainly to bash the USA... then you can expect to get shit from some members.  Mainly because this is a USA based forum with mainly USA based members. That is just my view on this.

I can't see anybody bashing USA yet, but just posting opinions about some behaviours... which is taking to some ppl to feel like is getting the patriotism offended. In my case at least and pretty much some others we are trying to show you how it looks from an exterior point of view ( like I tried on a deleted thread now ). Once again I'm not bashing any country ( just in case ) or political idea, just personal behaviours, but I have been somehow"offended" or at least my opinions tried to be reduced ( and not just once ) just because I'm from here or there without any sense, reason or good for the discussion.

If I have offended anybody here, please post where and how, and I will apologize

The issue at hand is not about you Nacho. If you have not read any of Alfaitalia's USA bashing replies, you need to go back and check his 5 year posting history.
http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,137507.0.html

Nacho-RT74

yes I know, but I have being agreed with alfaitalia in many ways at least on this specific topic and I can't find any post made by him actually offending or bashing USA, just behaviours. Some US members have been agreed too.

Dunno his past thought. I just try to be on the present moment and the present opinions about this specific topic

and still I say I my opinions have been tried to be reduced just because I am or I'm from here or there. That could be the same mistake than somebody bashing USA without any reason if was the case.

At the end is about respectfull no matter the country ( of the board or the member )

Nice! Overall, how do you like the bike? My wife and I are looking to pick up a pair to use at our cabin up in the U.P. of Michigan. Though we've never owned bikes, we are avid snowmobilers. We like the idea of having our own machines and are not really into the ATV thing (too hard to transition between road use and trail use as far a licensing goes). Thoughts?

b5blue

Really like it, seat is a bit hard but not terrible. Good sales on new right now also if you look online. Softer seat option but same critter is a Suzuki VanVan200. The big tires look and ride well with TW200 more off road knobby tires. Lucky me mine had new Suzuki type (more street.) tires just installed. Look online for reviews of both and story of same bike being made for 30+ years.  :2thumbs:
