Mytur Binsdirti

Looks like the replacement driveshaft is about 1 1/2" -2" too short. And why did it need to be replaced?

jefferson

Column shift hemi
Wow
Wonder what made the original owner go with that over a 727 auto
Seeing as most second gen hemis ive seen are either 4 speed manuel or 727 autos
This is the first hemi ive seen column shift
Awesome  :drool5:

Nacho-RT74

welll it is 727 auto, but on column... which is not is floor shifter 727

I've seen a few column shift Hemis. Personally, I feel that a Hemi is better suited  with an automatic versus a manual trans.

Ok Turban, it's time for you to stop playing around with black plastic Furds, and add a real black car to your collection, this is the one!

I did see it on fleabay and it is a very nice car indeed! I  would consider it, if not for the front bumper that needs some help. ......That and the price tag.

;D

Honestly, I love that color combination & it was a more affordable 440 car (with a lower price), I'd be all over it.

That triple black Hemi survivor would fit right in with your collection, and it's time you get one of the best year of second gen Chargers!

If I got a '70, it would have to be plum crazy with white stripes & interior.    :2thumbs:

The engine description seemed convoluted.
I read it as the original engine was a 1968 block, replaced with a dealer replacement ???

yes that's what I think too, seems things don't seem to add up,  given the description .....

oil pan looks to have been race hemi orange once then painted street hemi orange or the other way round  :shruggy:  also wonder what that blanked fitting is on the side ,  previously fitted oil temperature gauge ,  :shruggy:

I still lurk on here from time to time, just been very preoccupied. This thread caught my eye.
I have the other eye open for a '69 500, someday.

I thought a lot of 1970 hemi cars had 1968 casting blocks? Not sure what he means. Looks like an original VIN stamping.
