Did all Daytona's get full undercoat or would that have been an option

Broadcast sheet for sure. Not on a Lynch Rd tag for the '70 RR/Birds, but not sure how or if other plants put it on the fender tag for '69's.

No J55 on Daytona tags either.

The broadcast sheet in held1823's reply shows the undercoat/under hood pad option.
Look at row #8 then look in section J miscellaneous items box #55.
It has a #5 in that box so the car that sheet belongs to has the option!

Here is build sheet from my Daytona #400569 on 1st picture (hard to see, but there) followed by build sheet on my green bird #174621 second, followed by  build sheet purple Hemi bird #161573 without undercoat, followed by grey bird #175686 with undercoat, same J55 code. Seems reasonable to say they only came undercoated when punched that way on build sheet.

Just remember that the front fenders would not show signs of  undercoat even on an undercoat coded Daytona.  The front fenders are unique Daytona pieces that replaced the original fenders at  Creative.

My Superbird has factory undercoating but did not have the hood insulation nor the J55 code on the build sheet.   Whats up with that??

Full undercoating or just the general wheel well areas and misc spot shots?? J55 is the full underside undercoated and the hood pad.

It was a full undercoat.  I am now trying to figure out if it was done at the dealer or buy the first owner?  Did Mopar undercoat the underside with the transmission and driveshaft in place? I had undercoating on my driveshaft, tranny, a arms, brake lines, etc.....

I think I should do more research before I post.....Looking like my bird was Undercoated at or after the dealer.  I just looked at the shotty undercoat job that was sprayed everywhere and thought that it looked like a monday morning Mopar line job.
