I'm going from a black to white interior on my 70 Charger. The white headliner is going in next week. Are the side and rear interior headliner trims white on a white headliner car? Or do they remain black?

If they are white, do they match the headliner or are they bright white?

Thx
Tom

Normally, carpet, dash, steering column and package tray stays black. Rest white

The kick panels would also be black on a car with a white interior.

Mmmmm not on 3rd gens. A  Purple 70 R/T 4 speeds in Venezuela with white interior ( only one known in Venezuela) got white kick panels as far I know. But will search pics to be sure.

Maybe some yes and some other not?

EDITING... the 70 in Vzla got black kick panels! Along with A pillars and front headliner mold. I stand corrected

For '69 models, yes for sure. For '70 models I assume black also. There were changes after that.

My '69 Charger that I bought in 1974 (and still have) is white interior with black kick panels. A friend bought a '73 Road Runner new (and still has it  :2thumbs:), it has white interior with white kick panels.

I went from white to black on my Challenger as I didn't want my dogs totally fucking up my interior when they ride.

I have 70 with white interior. The door is also white behind the panel, Follows the weather stripping clip holes along the bottom edge. Missing my trim around the back window but it is white.  Here are a few pictures of her. hope this helps.

True. Just remember, black interiors matter.

One more question......is the the white surrounding the door a bright white? Or is it off white like the interior vinyl surfaces?

Easy one Finoke.  Just bought a pint last week. Kind of a off white. My 80 Roadrunner was originally painted this same color. In 80 they called it Spinnaker White.

The paint code is EW 1   or W 1 is another code for it but mostly EW 1 will get you the right shade.

Awesome. I'm familiar with ew1. Much appreciated Kent!

The white looks awesome. I always like seeing different color interiors other than black. Had a red with red interior 69' Coronet R/T and loved it. My current B5 Blue 70' Challenger had B5 blue interior originally but a previous owner changed and died everything to black, so it stays.
