My friend had a 70 Charger R/T SE sunroof car, that got rolled after being T boned by a van. Pete,DC.com member Wingnut, bought the damaged sunroof off the car,and put it in his Superbird. I have a 69 R/T SE sunroof car,and my friend has one too.

If it's a 440-6, 4-speed....that's probably my old car.
Sold it to "The Brothers" collection.

thumbwheel radio on a 70?

That is the only way to get an 8 track was to use a thumb wheel radio from the factory

So, what ever happened to that car... did he finish it?

I have not checked up on One of None in a while. Last I knew he was in the process of moving, and had most of the body work completed with the car in primer. The car did have the crank sunroof very very early in its life. I think he said it came out of one of the Chrysler lease lots and it supposedly had the sunroof then. The Chrysler employee that had the car most likely had the sunroof put in. There is a very small chance that the Chrysler employee was testing the reliability of the ASC/Golde sunroofs before putting the final stamp on making it an official option on their 1969 model year Charger. Just a possible scenario - but no proof of that has surfaced yet.
