this one needs a close inspection but for all the wrong reasons   , sure would like to see the stamped body numbers, under back seat & carpet & dash , front of the  core support, close inspection of inside the rear quarters & rear frame rail  :scratchchin:

Besides it having 10" rear drums and a red battery cable for ground it looks like a good car. That fender tag looks real

Judging by the kinks in the mufflers, at some point there must have been a big backfire.

Charger R / Ts with disc brakes had 10 inch rear drum brakes.

yes it looks good / nice  :coolgleamA: :yesnod:
&  would not be a problem if this charger  was wearing  a 1970 vin ,  front end sheet metal , interior , & rear side marker lights.
unless they done weird stuff at St Louis assembly plant in 1968, if anyone reading this is bidding on this car / interested in it, inspect it carefully & take a known charger / mopar  expert who also understands automotive body  & paint  &  restoration techniques to. I would  avoid this particular charger  &  look for another...  unless your not bothered by this kind of thing, in which case good luck

Well...  I have to ask... what do you mean by "this kind of thing"?   :shruggy:  It has a '69 vin, "front end sheet metal , interior , & rear side marker lights" all look correct to me (except they are reflectors, not lights for '69 models).

Will you elaborate? Perhaps I am missing something.

On another note tan top... thank you for the excellent job you do of posting photos from cars for sale online so we will have them after the ad is gone. That takes time to do and is appreciated.   :yesnod:

Bill sent you a PM

pretty sure its a 70 body shell or part of one !   if you  look at 69 body shells then study SPDs  & then a 1970 shell !
if not its had  a load of repop sheet  or wrong year metal fitted    !  that's the only explanation I can come up with , I know its contradicting everything that's said in the adverts on the internet about this car , shame awesome looking charger ! hope i'm wrong & there is a innocent explanation.

All I saw was the fender tag on backwards....
1970 'Bird RM23UOA170163
1969 'Bee WM21H9A230241
1969 Dart Swinger LM23P9B190885
1967 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S
1966 Plymouth Satellite HP2 - 9941 original miles
1964 Dodge 440 62422504487

Bronzedodge

The K frame and rails reminds me of mine - my car had genuine Ziebart applied, messily, back in the day.  There's something odd going on w the paint on the fenderwell by the tag - rust or odd checking.
Mopar forever!
