vinyl top 68 69 70 charger without the vinyl

Hello all just wondering if anyone has an original vinyl top 68 69 70 charger but left the moldings on & vinyl off .Mine is an original vinyl top car but wondering what it looks like or any issues that may arise meaning around the moldings etc  please add a picture if you can thanks all

My 70 was B5 Blue with a white top now just white.

I personally like that look even though it's not factory. I know a lot of guys filled in the holes for the vinyl top trim and just used some sort of adhesive to hold the trim down in order to keep water from getting in them and leaking.

The GLs were almost all done that way in the old TV series.  They removed it in the later reunions & remakes.

 I like the look of a second generation with out a vinyl top , but prefer the look with a vinyl top !  having no vinyl top &  leaving the vinyl top trim IMO only looks good on the original GL chargers & the DMCL charger see below ... maybe because I brain washed my self as a kid watching DMCL & DOH as much as I could :lol:

also use to see quite a few chargers in the 80s with vinyl tops removed  & still having the vinyl top trim .


IMO  having a 69 charger with no vinyl & still having the vinyl  top trim  needs to be GY3 Citron yella  ;)   :drool5:
