Anyone seen the new Charger HotWheels?

Yea, they look kinda goofy, but they are still Chargers.  I picked 3 up today, since I remembered a post on the old board about how the nerds always buy them as soon as they can, so nobody else can get them.  I'm keeping one for myself.  However, the other 2 are up for grabs.  The first 2 people to PM me their full address will get them.  You just have to pay for the shipping.

It look s like a Cuda.

Yea, I know.  It's a new "torpedo" edition. ::)  Why can't HotWheels just make cars that actually look like normal cars anymore?

There were three of them at Zellers when I was there... I left them where the hung!

I stopped collecting years ago, but I still buy anything Charger and most anything Mopar when I see it. I occasionally also find myself buying Brand X muscle, but not too often. Those don't look like much of anything I'd care o own...I must have passed them by 20 times by now. The one's to look for are the Hot Wheels classic editions and the new Big Time Muscle die casts...they're cool and might gain in value....

I got one for $0.89 at Kmart just for s*its and giggles...

I saw that at Zellers last weekend, but they didn't have what I went there for and I refused to stand in line to pay for a hot wheel.

I'll grab one eventually - just because it's a Charger. That's pretyy much all I ever buy now as far as die cast goes.

mustanghater

I saw one once and never saw one again. maybe I'll find one at the nats.

I picked up one of those for my boy to play with. Smart little kid still recognized it as a Charger, even though he is only 20 months old.

dart3404

It's kinda funny looking but I had to get it.

69_500

Definately isn't what people expect when they hear its a Charger hot wheel now is it?

I tend to stick with either Muscle Machines or Johnny Lightning.  Rarely ever do I get a Hot Wheels . Im starting to pick up on the Model cars at craft stores by Revell. Im making a replica of my 69 , and once thats done I have a 70 challenger to work on. The challenger is a 2 n 1  so I can make it look stock  or I can make it have a blower  8)

There ain't any Johnny Lightning Mopar stuff around here.  It's all Imports, and ricers.  Seriously, they have Johnny Lightning Civics, with an unpainted body kit, and a giant wing.  And, we get that shit, instead of REAL cars.

I used to do that too until I added up how much money I was wasting.    That muscle machines charger is pretty cool though...

yeah I try to stay away from them unless its like the perfect car and color.  I figure with all this money im putting into things that hang on the wall or sit on a desk I could be putting it into my car instead.

I don't want to try and count how many Johnny Lightning and other makes of diecast cars I have, let alone how much money I have spent on them. I have not bought any cars for about a year so I have saved lots of money. These are just some of my 1/64 cars.

 :o
lots of cars!!!

I like how you have them set up in the cases.

Old Moparz

I love dicast cars, but couldn't keep up with all the colors & models years ago so I stopped buying them regularly. If buy anything now, it's just Mopar items that are realistic looking. Even as a kid I rarely wanted the cartoon type cars with motors twice the size of the body.

8Wheeler, I like the display cases you have. I have to do something like that to get mine out of boxes they're in so I can see them. I've even thought about the ones I have from when I was a kid back in the 60's. I want to get them out to show my daughter, she likes cars & has about 75 of them now. I think I may have about 150 of the old ones.
