I know this post is old, but I am in the same situation. The body shop put in a new rear deck and the chrome trim bracket holes were not re-drilled holes. Also cannot find the holes under the vinyl top on the sides.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Cannot seem to find anything in any forums.

Between tonight and tomorrow I am hoping to get all of my retainers in so I can work on getting the glass in to the car.

Either of you put the rear window in by yourself? Or would you recommend having a glass shop do it? I know there are a lot of opinions out there, but they all count.

yes the nut & bolt resto on my charger I done every thing  my self ,  rear glass is easy to do ( although if you have never done this  kind of thing before get a glass guy to fit it )  if fitting it !  best to have a helper but can be done on your own if you remove the deck lid ( to stand in trunk & lower the glass down level at correct angle ) ,  make sure you fit all the revel moulding clips first , you can either use the correct butyl tape , or a fairly common substitute  today is to use windshield glue , the 3m butyl tape comes in two sizes 3/8" & 5/16" . 5/16" is the correct one only if your glass channel is in factory specs if had lots of repair & or  no longer stock depth may well need the 3/8 or just use the windshield glue. apply the special primer to the glass channel first ( not everyone  uses this primer ! but IMO its best to ) fit the OEM or equivalent glass lower bottom  edge spacers , then fit the butyl tape , with a helper  ( easier if you have a couple of glass suction grip handles )  lower glass flat onto tape , making sure its centred , once its stuck don't pull it off , apply even pressure to seat / stick glass to the tape ,  when fitting the stainless trim I put a dab of grease in each of  the revel clips to help the trim engage easier. actually before you even think of fitting the glass have a trial fit of the stainless trim  first easier now to find & fix a problem.  now this was 20 years ago I done mine & while I had done many before that on all types of cars  ! none since, so I may well have forgotten stuff  , any one reading this , feel free to correct anything i've forgotten about

Again thanks Tan Top! The guys on this forum have been the most helpful during this process of putting my Charger back together. It has been a very long journey as I have to research every step and as some might put it "anal" in my approach to every step. I hate to admit it but I have even painted most all bolt and nuts even to keep them from rusting as long as they can. It might not be what the factory did, but it will be done better for a longer life.
